Naomi Sokoloff
Professor Naomi Sokoloff has taught modern Jewish literature and Hebrew at the University of Washington(Seattle) since 1985. Her most recent book is "Boundaries of Jewish Identity," co-edited with Susan Glenn (UW Press 2010). Currently she is organizing a symposium, to be held at UW on May 23-24, 2016, called "Hebrew and the Humanities: Present Tense." This symposium will be held in conjunction with the Stroum Lectures, featuring Dara Horn and Ilan Stavans.
