Canadian Jews have served in every one of Canada's wars since the South African (Boer) War. The Canadian Jewish War Memorial Book of Remembrance, (published in 2004 and weighing over 10 pounds) attempts to list all the names of Jews who volunteered for service, were wounded, killed or received distinctions. Less than 100 copies of this book were printed. I would bring a rare copy of this book, describe the heritage of Jewish Canadians who served in wartime and offer the opportunity for participants to search the book for records of their family members.
